Letter from the Manager

Winter has officially arrived with cooler weather and longer nights, making now the perfect time to enjoy the comforts of home. Check your windows and doors for any drafts that could let cool air in and make sure your thermostat is working properly before the weather really cools down. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your home more inviting. All of our wonderful residents deserve a relaxing place to call home- Amy

All the Right Moves

If your lease expires soon, the smartest move you can make is to stay put! Renew your lease with us and avoid the headache that comes along with moving. Instead, indulge in the comforts of familiar surroundings and remember why you decided to call Stoneleigh on May home in the first place. Drop by the office and we'll gladly prepare your paperwork. Go ahead, extend your stay with us.

No Soliciting Allowed

Even though it is the season of giving, please be aware that no door-to-door soliciting is allowed on the property. If you are approached by a solicitor, tell him or her that soliciting is not permitted on the property and call the office to inform us that a solicitor is on the grounds (page our courtesy officer). Your cooperation is appreciated.

Happy Thanksgiving!

"Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul."
-Henry Ward Beecher

We would like to wish all our residents a happy Thanksgiving. May the blessings of this day be a wonderful start to your holiday season!

We're Thankful for You!

Thanks to our residents who are staying with us for another year. Residents who renew their leases are, to us, the best evidence of a job well done. It is very gratifying when our residents like living here so much that they stay year after year. Your continuous involvement is very important for developing the community spirit that makes everyone feel at home. We look forward to enjoying you in the community for another year!

They will only be spraying certain buildings in particular, and you will receive a notice no later than 24 hours prior to him entering your apartment home. If you have a special request, please contact the leasing office immediately. Please remember to post a note on your front door if you do not wish to have your apartment sprayed, there will be a $15 cancellation fee. Remember, they spray on the third Tuesday of each month!

Holiday Lighting Tips

*Purchase lights that bear the name of an independent testing lab, such as UL, and follow the instructions for installation and maintenance.
*Look for the label which specifies lights are safe for indoor and outdoor use.*Check lights for broken or cracked sockets, frayed wires or loose connections.
*Mount lights in ways that won't damage the cord's wire insulation. Use clips, not nails.
*Turn off all lights before leaving the house or going to bed.

Have a safe and Happy Holiday Season!

To Those Who Served

November 11th (observed) is Veteran's Day. The staff would like to take this opportunity to express appreciation to all veterans, but especially those in our own community!

Fireplace Reminder

For our residents with fireplaces, remember to open your flue before starting a fire. This is an easy thing to forget. And don't close the flue until the fire has completely burned out and the coals are cool. Small amounts of cut firewood can be stored in your apartment in an appropriate holding device. Special slow burning fire logs which can be purchased at the store, are an easy and neat alternative to cut wood. If you have questions about where to obtain wood for your fireplace, call the office.
Thanks!

Time to Fall Behind

Remember that Daylight Savings time ends November 4th. Turn your clocks back one hour and take advantage of the extra time to sleep. For once you can snooze and not lose!
