For our residents with fireplaces, remember to open your flue before starting a fire. This is an easy thing to forget. And don't close the flue until the fire has completely burned out and the coals are cool. Small amounts of cut firewood can be stored in your apartment in an appropriate holding device. Special slow burning fire logs which can be purchased at the store, are an easy and neat alternative to cut wood.
